The first Elias Crespin’ solo exhibition at Galerie Denise René, Paris.
“The encounter between Elias Crespin and Denise René gallery is a sort of evidence.
The interest shown in this Venezuelan artist born in Caracas in 1965 by the gallery pioneer of geometric abstraction and discoverer of the great kinetic masters, is the result of a close collaboration followed since 2011 which allowed to present the evolution of his work to an international audience and to an increasing number of collectors at Art Basel, FIAC, and in several group exhibitions in Paris and Miami.
For the solo show devoted to him from October 17th 2014 till January 3rd 2015, in the gallery Denise René Espace Marais a set of 12 new works by Elias Crespin will be shown. It presents the most significant creative universe of an artist who invites the viewer to look with new eyes the art of movement.
This exhibition shows a new collaboration between Elias Crespin and composer Jacopo Baboni-Schilingi: Trianguconcéntricos fluo rouge is immersed in his musical universe. The music is generated according to the mobile’s moving geometry, following its choreography.”
